The following server software was recently upgraded. These
upgrades should not affect you other than providing a more
stable and secure hosting service.

OpenSLL
mod_ssl
MySQL
PHP
phpMyAdmin
Expat
Python

Over the next few months we will be performing server upgrades.
Most customers will see no downtime and you will not need to
make any changes to your account at all.

For a few customers some small changes may be required and we
will either make these changes on your behalf or contact you
to discuss what will be necessary.

We will begin using the FreeBSD version of Unix instead of the
BSDi version of Unix.  FreeBSD is based on the same, incredibly
reliable core Unix code created decades ago. But unlike BSDi,
FreeBSD is highly supported by the Internet community and is
often more compatible with the latest server software. This
translates into a newer, faster, stable and more secure hosting
service.

In addition to software upgrades, our server hardware is also
being upgraded. Those with more CPU intensive scripts and
applications will notice a major increase in execution speed.
