-> ARTICLE #1: Miva Merchant ===================================
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================
Response has been great, but we can't stress enough the
fantastic deal our new Commerce accounts offer. For the less
demanding user (one who can live without having their own domain
name), our Budget Commerce account is absolutely a steal. Check
it out:
http://www.wso.net/budget.htm
For those who require a virtual domain, the Commerce Plus
account has everything you need. Info here:
http://www.wso.net/cplus.htm
Full details, examples, demos, and explanations are available
at the above pages, please check them out. Feel free to contact
us at support@wso.net with any questions you may have.

-> ARTICLE #2: New Log Rotation Option =========================
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================
As many of you know, your web log rotation settings can be
changed in the WSO SupportCenter. A new feature has been added
this month. The new feature allows you to *keep* rotated raw
logs (both normal and error logs).
In most cases you will not want to keep them and just keep the
rotation analysis. But some "power users" want the option of
hanging on to all their previous raw log info.
By default the feature is set to "no". By keeping it set to "no"
you won't see any change in how your logs are currently being
handled. If you wish to keep your raw rotated logs, enter your
WSO SupportCenter and click on "Change your web log rotation
settings".
http://www.wso.net/support.htm
These rotated raw logs will be compressed (or stay uncompressed)
based on the compression settings also found in the "Change
web rotation settings" area of the SupportCenter.
Remember, if you decide to keep your rotated logs (and your
old log analysis as well), they will use up your allotted disk
space. If you choose to keep old logs, remember to periodically
remove them from your '_wso_logs' directory.
Thanks to Virtual Domain customer David Marshall who suggested
this new log feature.

-> ARTICLE #3: CounterMaker Available in WSO SupportCenter =====
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================
Each month we've been introducing a new set of counter graphics
that you can use on your web pages. But many of you are having
a hard time following the HTML syntax needed to put in your
pages.
To solve the problem, we've created the WSO CounterMaker.
CounterMaker is a new utility available through your WSO
SupportCenter, look for it under General Utilities.
Just click on CounterMaker and fill out the form. The needed
HTML will be displayed on the screen where you can cut and
paste it into your own web pages. It is pretty slick, check it
out. Let us know what you think... hey, tell your friends!
Remember, you can not only make hit counters, but also clocks
and date displays.
Have fun!

-> ARTICLE #4: "Fancy Collection, Part One" Counters Available =
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================
Here is the fourth edition of our monthly counters collection.
This month is the "Fancy Collection, Part One" featuring 101 new
counter graphics! Samples can be found here:
http://www.wso.net/counters_fancy1.htm
Full documentation on how to use these counters appears in the
Tech Support area of the WSO SupportCenter:
http://www.wso.net/support.htm
Look under the Available CGI's section for "Graphical Hit
Counters". Full details on all options are there.
Also available is the new WSO CounterMaker that helps you
create the HTML code for displaying the counter on your page.
Look for CounterMaker under General Utilities in your WSO
SupportCenter.
The main thing to remember is that you have to set a unique
name using the 'df' parameter and you can choose a counter type
using the 'dd' parameter. The 'dd' code needed for each counter
is listed below each counter on the sample page.
You'll also notice that some sample counters show an AM & PM
graphic. This means you can use that counter with a clock,
similar to the one at the bottom of our home page:
http://www.wso.net
We've added more examples to the WSO SupportCenter counters
area, so check it out if you are confused at all. Or drop us a
note and we can help you out.
