-> ARTICLE #1: WSO SmartSupport: "So Smart, It's Kind of Freaky"
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================

When we first introduced the WSO SupportCenter, some people
wondered why it was password protected. At the time, there
really wasn't much need for the protection, but we knew that our
long term plans would require it to be protected.

Now this time has fully arrived. Starting this month the Tech
Support Articles section of the WSO SupportCenter gets a brain.
Instead of just seeing general examples of how to do (or code)
something, you'll now be shown the EXACT instructions or code
that needed for YOUR account. Instead of you having to
"fill in the blanks" the new SupportCenter does it for you.

Give it a try, you'll be amazed at how much more useful and
meaningful the instructions and support articles are.

Let us know what you think, your feedback is highly welcomed.

================================================================
-> ARTICLE #2: Shared Secure Server for Virtual Domains ========
---> Relevant for VD, CP =======================================
================================================================

A long brewing controversy over the feasibility of using a
shared secure server for Virtual Domain accounts lead us to do
our own investigating and experimentation.

The result? Yes, it can be done.

So, without further delay, please welcome...www.securepage.com!

Here's how it works. Let's say you would normally load a page
called 'mypage.htm' this way: http://www.domain.com/mypage.htm

To use the new shared secure server, load the page like this:
https://www.securepage.com/domain/mypage.htm

For specific examples using your account information, check out
the new SmartSupport in the WSO SupportCenter. Log in to the
SupportCenter and then click on "Tech Support Articles". Then
click on "How do I use www.securepage.com?" under the Secure
Server heading.

The browser is routed through our new securepage.com domain
but is then linked to your home directory. This way, you do
not have to move any pages or data to allow them to be called
securely. You just have to change the URL used to call them.

Miva Merchant users should note that they can use the new
feature in their shopping carts to allow customers to check out
securely. Look for an e-mail on what changes you need to make
to your Miva Merchant setup to use the new feature.

securepage.com uses a Thawte secure certificate.

PLESAE NOTE: Other account types hosted on wso.net and mav.net
do not need to use securepage.com. They already have access to
the secure server on www.mav.net and www.wso.net. securepage.com
is for virtual domain type accounts only.

================================================================
-> ARTICLE #3: More CounterMaker Options Added =================
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================

As you may already know, CounterMaker is one of the latest
utilities available to you through the WSO SupportCenter.
This month we've added two new options:

* Choose 2 or 4 digit year in date display
* Choose starting number for new counters

For more info, please see last months newsletter. Back issues
can always be found at:

http://www.wso.net/news.htm

================================================================
-> ARTICLE #4: New Counters Next Month =========================
---> Relevant for ALL WSO customers ============================
================================================================

No new counter styles this month, look for more next month!
